Do I need to know how to code?

No. Every section is editable in the Shopify theme editor; code knowledge is only needed if you want to go beyond the many built-in customisation options.

Will it work with my existing apps?

Theme By TC is built on standard Shopify sections and metafields, so it plays well with most apps.

Can I switch back to my current theme if it's not for me?

Yes, Shopify keeps your old theme saved in your admin, so switching to a different theme never deletes it
